I’m Philippe Hubo, 55 years, married … with children 🙂
I live in Tienen, a small town in Belgium.
Graphical arts have always had a special place in my hart, as a young kid I already went to art academy after school. I’ve taken pictures all my life, but to improve on my photography skills, I’ve subscribed some years ago to evening school on photography (CVO Leuven) and meanwhile graduated as a licensed photographer. As I was still eager to learn more, I have then enlisted in an art academy (Academie Haspengouw) to improve my creative/artistic skills.
As of 2014 I’m also a proud member of photoclub Reflex , where we organize lots of amusing and interesting activities. Since a few years I’ve joined the management of the club and took the role of webmaster.
My favorite photography areas are documentary (abandoned building, glory in decay, …), and portrait.
Next to photography, my other passions in life are salsa dancing, traveling and computer games.
Starting out years ago with an old, 2nd hand Canon 400, I upgraded some time ago to a full-frame camera (Canon 5D Mk II). Meanwhile a 5D Mk IV and a 7D Mk II also joined the family 😉 All have served me very well ever since …
